The Catonsville Comets basketball team (Baltimore, MD), was overwhelmed 80-42 in Wednesday's league battle with the host New Town (Owings Mills, MD)
The now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Overlea for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. New Town will battle a Falcons team coming off a 75-64 league win over Lansdowne (Baltimore, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.
The Comets (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Reservoir (Fulton, MD). The 'Gators come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Reservoir trounced Atholton (Columbia, MD), 65-55, in a league battle.
