With the victory, Crest improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to confront the Red Raiders in a 3A Conference 50 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. South Point won 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) in a 2A Conference 41 challenge, on Friday, January 6. East Rutherford will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 59-43 non-league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
