The Lincoln-Way Central Knights basketball team (New Lenox, IL), was toppled 57-42 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL)
The Trojans now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyons for a West Suburban - Silver battle on Friday, January 6. Downers Grove North will confront a Lions team coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Lions record now stands at 11-1.
The Knights (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Sandburg was topped by Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 54-48, in a non-league outing.
