The Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) basketball nipped the host Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA), 59-53 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Tara got by Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA), 48-38, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mamou for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Eunice will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Elton (Elton, LA). The Demons record now stands at 7-6.
