Geneva (Boerne, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX), 84-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Geneva upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The host Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX) to play the Knights in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 14-9. Holy Cross won 53-46 in their recent league bout against Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the NYOS Charter Jaguars (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Texas School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 50-22 non-league loss to Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX).
