South Carolina High School Basketball - Hammond holds off Wilson Hall

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) and the host Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC), saw Hammond's basketball squad hold off Wilson Hall by a tally of 42-36.

With the victory, Hammond improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to confront the Swampcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Swampcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Barons confront the Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Wilson Hall will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 68-60 non-league win over Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC).
