The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) basketball crushed the host Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers (Jacksonville, IL), 61-24 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL). The Wolves go into the Western Illinois Valley test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Pleasant Hill was trounced by West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL), 60-37, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Alabama School for the Deaf for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Illinois School for the Deaf will encounter a Silent Warriors squad coming off a 59-27 league loss to Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Silent Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
