Ohio High School Basketball - Utica fells Licking Valley

Utica Redskins (Utica, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH), 64-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Utica upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Redskins travel to Lakewood (Hebron, OH) to play the Lancers in a Licking County - Cardinal bout on Saturday, January 7. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Lakewood lost 70-48 in their recent non-league bout against Beechcroft (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Panthers play the Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) in a Licking County - Buckeye bout, on Saturday, January 7. Licking Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Blue Aces go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 61-28 league win over Newark Catholic (Newark, OH).
