The Ludlow Lions basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Pathfinder RVT Pioneers to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belchertown for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Ludlow will battle a Orioles team coming off a 73-52 non-league loss to Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Orioles record now stands at 2-4.

The Pioneers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Smith Vo-Tech (Northampton, MA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
