The McDonogh Eagles tipped the host Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars basketball team by a final score of 58-57 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 6. McDonogh will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 53-48 league loss to Goretti (Hagerstown, MD).
The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record.
