The Mifflin Punchers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Whitehall-Yearling Rams to 45 in the Punchers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Punchers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linden-McKinley for a Columbus City - North contest on Friday, January 6. Mifflin will meet a Panthers team coming off a 51-48 league win over Whetstone (Columbus, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
