Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate (Henderson, NV) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV), 64-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Pirate travel to Boulder City (Boulder City, NV) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Boulder City lost 70-60 in their recent non-league bout against Basic (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Trojans play the Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Pahrump Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 62-58 non-league loss to Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV).
