With the victory, Academy at Palumbo upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Griffin travel to Frankford (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Frankford won 43-36 in their recent league bout against Bodine (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Philadelphia High School for Girls GAZELLE (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Sankofa Freedom Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The GAZELLE come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 36-32 league loss to Abraham Lincoln (Philadelphia, PA).
