Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bogalusa Lumberjacks (Bogalusa, LA) and the visiting De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA), saw Bogalusa's basketball squad hold off De La Salle by a tally of 45-38.

With the victory, Bogalusa improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-7.

Next up, the Cavalier confront the Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 9 challenge, on Monday, January 9. De La Salle will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record.
