The Suffield Wildcats basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Canton Warriors to 34 in the Wildcats league victory on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolton for a North Central Connecticut contest on Friday, January 6. Suffield will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-23 league win over Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Somers (Somers, CT). The Spartans go into the North Central Connecticut bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Somers topped East Granby (East Granby, CT), 45-30, in a league bout.
