Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA), 48-9 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Green Run upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Stallions host Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Dolphins in a Beach bout on Friday, January 6. The Dolphins come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Ocean Lakes won 64-49 in their recent non-league bout against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Commodores play the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern bout, on Friday, January 6. Maury will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Salem (Virginia Beach, VA).
