Nebraska High School Basketball - Minden overwhelms Kearney Catholic

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league test between the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) and the host Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE), witnessed Minden's basketball squad crush Kearney Catholic by a margin of 52-20.

The Whippets (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Ainsworth was trounced by Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE), 49-39, in a non-league test.

The Stars now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Grand Island Central Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Kearney Catholic will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 48-26 non-league win over Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-3.
