The Notre Dame Catholic Lancers basketball team (Fairfield, CT), was nudged 42-36 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT)

The Falcons now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridgeport Central for a Fairfield County battle on Friday, January 6. Ludlowe will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 52-20 league loss to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-5.

The Lancers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, New Milford edged Danbury (Danbury, CT), 58-50, in a non-league battle.
