Tennessee High School Basketball - Memphis School of Excellence ripped by Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering

The Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Memphis School of Excellence Eagles to 14 in the Phoenix non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Phoenix now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a 1A District 15 contest on Friday, January 6. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering will meet a Warriors team coming off a 68-18 non-league loss to The Rock (Gainesville, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-4.
The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against City University School of Liberal Arts (Memphis, TN). The enter the 1A District 16 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, City University School of Liberal Arts was routed by Fayette Academy (Somerville, TN), 29-12, in a non-league contest.
