Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC), 46-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Roughriders host McKinley Tech (Washington, DC) to play the Trainers in a DCSAA bout on Friday, January 6. The Trainers come into the bout with a record of 6-3. McKinley Tech lost 67-21 in their recent non-league bout against Bergtraum (New York, NY)

Next up, the Warriors play the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA bout, on Friday, January 6. Woodson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
