Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans (Scottsdale, AZ) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a 3A Central challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ).

The Crimson Knights now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John Paul II Catholic for a 3A Southwest challenge on Monday, January 9. Trivium Prep will confront a Lions team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
