In Wednesday's league challenge, the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) ice hockey team the visiting Brunswick School Bruins (Greenwich, CT), by a margin of 4-1.
The Big Red now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon Old Farms for a challenge on Saturday, January 7. Taft School will clash with a Beavers team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 9-0.
The Bruins (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Crimson Knights enter the Independent challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Salisbury School tipped Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
