With the victory, Clairemont upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Kearny (San Diego, CA) to play the Komets in a bout on Friday, January 6. The Komets come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Kearny won 53-41 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Fallbrook Warriors (Fallbrook, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. O'Farrell Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 60-43 non-league loss to Vista (Vista, CA).
