In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 42-38 triumph over the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a match, on Friday, January 6. Lake Norman will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 41-37 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC).
