In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) basketball squad beat the host Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), by a margin of 37-23.
The Gladiators (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Banning (Wilmington, CA). The Pilots go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Banning was topped by Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA), 53-37, in a non-league outing.
