Next, the Chargers face the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) in a Sunset Wave challenge, on Friday, January 6. Edison will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Sailors enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA).

The Breakers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. Laguna Beach will face a Griffins team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 6-5.
