The Squalicum Storm basketball team (Bellingham, WA), was routed 68-47 in Thursday's league battle with the host Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA)
The Seahawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Saturday, January 6. Anacortes will battle a Trojans team coming off a 85-50 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-5.
The Storm (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Nooksack Valley was routed by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 72-42, in a league battle.
