Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) and the visiting Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY), saw Oldham County's basketball squad overcome Ballard by a tally of 90-79.

With the victory, Oldham County improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Colonels host Sayre (Lexington, KY) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Sayre lost 64-60 in their recent league challenge against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)

Next up, the Bruins play the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions (Louisville, KY) in a District 28 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Ballard will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
