The Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] Bison basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Valley City Hi-Liners to 54 in the Bison non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bison now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakes for a B District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 60-38 non-league win over South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-2.
The Hi-Liners (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND). The Grovers enter the A Region 1 contest with a 1-4 record.
