Estancia Eagles (Costa Mesa, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA), 77-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Estancia upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Eagles host Hueneme (Oxnard, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Hueneme lost 53-42 in their recent non-league bout against Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA)

Next up, the Olympians play the Pomona Red Devils (Pomona, CA) in a Miramonte bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Bassett will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to Don Lugo (Chino, CA).
