Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Buckeye Bucks (Medina, OH), 61-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olmsted Falls upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Avon (Avon, OH) to play the Eagles in a Southwestern bout on Saturday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Avon won 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Westlake (Westlake, OH)

Next up, the Bucks play the Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH) in a Great Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Buckeye will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 71-40 league loss to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH).
