Nebraska High School Basketball - Burwell ripped by Central Valley

The Central Valley Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Burwell Longhorns to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nebraska Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Central Valley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-31 non-league loss to Fullerton (Fullerton, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
The Longhorns (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis (Humphrey, NE). The Flyers enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, St. Francis was routed by Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE), 56-35, in a non-league contest.
