The Taft Toreadors basketball team (Woodland Hills, CA), dropped 61-50 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA)
The Jaguars now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rancho Dominguez for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Cabrillo will confront a Lobos team coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to Vallivue (Caldwell, ID). The Lobos record now stands at 4-13.
The Toreadors (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders come into the West Valley battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Granada Hills Charter dropped by Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA), 65-63, in a non-league battle.
