In their next game, the Cardinals face the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians (Fort Totten, ND) in a A Region 2 game, on Thursday, January 11. Carrington will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.

With the defeat, New Rockford-Sheyenne moves to 7-4 on the year. The Rockets travel to St. John (St. John, ND) to face the Woodchucks in a non-league game on Monday, January 8. The Woodchucks enter the game with a record of 2-6. St. John lost 48-42 in their recent league game against North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] (Rolla, ND)
