The Fillmore Central Panthers basketball team (Geneva, NE), dropped 66-50 in Thursday's league battle with the host Central City Bison (Central City, NE)
The Bison now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia/Loup City for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Central City will confront a Rebels team coming off a 58-39 non-league loss to Wood River (Wood River, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 4-6.
The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Superior (Superior, NE). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Superior dropped by Thayer Central (Hebron, NE), 43-23, in a league battle.
