The Coventry Oakers basketball team (Coventry, RI), was overwhelmed 70-49 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI)
The Chargers now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Hope for a Division 2 battle on Monday, January 8. Chariho will battle a Huskies team coming off a 50-49 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-5.
The Oakers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies come into the Division 2 battle with a 1-5 record.
