In their next game, the Gators meet the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley match, on Wednesday, January 10. Crystal Lake South will attempt to better on its 15-2 season record. The Whip-Purs enter the match with a 8-7 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).

With the defeat, Chicago University moves to 3-9 on the year. The Maroons host Northridge (Niles, IL) to meet the Knights in a Independent School match on Friday, January 5. The Knights enter the match with a record of 10-4. Northridge lost 54-52 in their recent non-league outing against Central (Burlington, IL)
