The Menlo School Knights basketball team (Atherton, CA), was nudged 44-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Collegiate Dutchmen (New York, NY)
The Dutchmen now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crystal Springs Uplands for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Collegiate will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA). The Gryphons record now stands at 3-6.
The Knights (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Half Moon Bay was nudged by St. Mary's (Stockton, CA), 54-50, in a non-league battle.
