The Cotter Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles to 11 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenland for a 2A Region 1 contest on Friday, January 5. Cotter will battle a Pirates team coming off a 62-37 league win over Eureka Springs (Eureka Springs, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 8-2.

The Eagles (0-19) will now prepare for their contest against Bakersfield (Bakersfield, MO). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Bakersfield was routed by Palmyra (Palmyra, MO), 63-39, in a non-league contest.
