Jackson Vikings (Jackson, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dexter Dreadnaughts (Dexter, MI), 61-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Oak Park (Oak Park, MI) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Oak Park lost 64-51 in their recent league bout against Adams (Rochester, MI)

Next up, the Dreadnaughts play the Woodward Polar Bears (Toledo, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
