The Dutchtown Griffins basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting West St. John Rams to 16 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Thursday.
In their next game, the Griffins face the Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. Dutchtown will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Sharks enter the match with a 10-6 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA).
With the defeat, West St. John moves to 3-10 on the year. The Rams travel to John Ehret (Marrero, LA) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, January 5. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 5-7.
