Far Rockaway Seahorses (Far Rockaway, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Queens Teaching (Bellerose, NY), 64-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Far Rockaway upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Seahorses host Bowne (Flushing, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Bowne won 62-44 in their recent non-league bout against Washington Heights Expeditionary (New York, NY)

Next up, the play the Eagle Academy III (Queens, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Queens Teaching will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 83-48 league loss to Cardozo (Bayside, NY).
