Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) and the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), saw Orono's basketball squad wallop Foxcroft Academy by a tally of 81-34.

With the victory, Orono improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Riots travel to Caribou (Caribou, ME) to play the Vikings in a B North challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Caribou won 58-25 in their recent league challenge against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME)

Next up, the Ponies play the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a B North challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Golden Bucks come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 62-45 league loss to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME).
