The Lenox Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Griswold Tigers to 12 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Warren for a Pride of Iowa contest on Friday, January 5. Lenox will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 63-47 league win over Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 6-2.

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Essex, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Essex was routed by East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO), 66-58, in a non-league contest.
