The Hadley Luzerne Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Salem Generals to 20 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Warren Central for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Tuesday, January 9. Hadley Luzerne will battle a Cougars team coming off a 51-40 league win over Fort Edward (Fort Edward, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.

The Generals (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hartford Central (Hartford, NY). The Tanagers enter the Section 2 Adirondack contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Hartford Central was routed by Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY), 65-45, in a league contest.
