The Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) basketball knocked off the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), 56-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Navigators (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Warhill went down by New Kent (New Kent, VA), 64-56, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Guardian Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, January 8. Veritas School will encounter a Royal Knights squad coming off a 73-63 league loss to Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA). The Royal Knights record now stands at 4-3.
