In Thursday's league outing, the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), by a margin of 71-45.

The Saints (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons go into the Division 2 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Cranston West was trounced by Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 72-42, in a league outing.

The Blue Wave now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tolman for a non-league outing on Monday, January 8. Hope will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 80-38 league win over Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
