Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wasatch Academy Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, UT) and the visiting IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL), saw Wasatch Academy's basketball squad knock off IMG Academy by a tally of 90-77.

With the victory, Wasatch Academy improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to La Lumiere (La Porte, IN) to play the Lakers in a Nike Elite Youth Scholastic challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. La Lumiere lost 82-65 in their recent league challenge against Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY)

Next up, the Ascenders play the Tampa Catholic Crusaders (Tampa, FL) in a 3A District 9 challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. IMG Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 75-47 non-league loss to Norland (Miami, FL).
