The Watkins Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Logan Chieftains to 48 in the Warriors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Licking Valley for a Licking County - Buckeye contest on Saturday, January 6. Watkins Memorial will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-47 non-league win over Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.

The Chieftains (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles (Columbus, OH). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, St. Charles prevailed over Briggs (Columbus, OH), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
