California High School Basketball - North thwarts Millikan

The North Stars (Bakersfield, CA) basketball knocked off the host Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA), 56-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Stars (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The Antelopes go into the non-league test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Antelope Valley notched a victory over California City (California City, CA), 86-56, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Cabrillo for a Moore test on Monday, January 8. Millikan will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 59-39 non-league win over Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-8.
